EnSafe Inc. is a small business under NAICS Code 562910 with over 40 years’ experience executing similar services for the Navy through fixed-price contracts like the NAVFAC Southeast EMAC and cost-plus programmatic contracts like NAVFAC Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action (CLEAN) as well as similar Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. Recently, EnSafe, through its joint venture Resolution Consultants, achieved 98% Excellent or Very Good Award Fee Determinations across our entire Navy CLEAN contract – over 300 Task Orders!
Key members of GEAR and EnSafe have worked together on past NAVFAC CLEAN (N62470-11-D-8013) contract task orders (CTOs). Most recently GEAR was a subcontractor to Resolution Consultants (an AECOM-EnSafe JV) on CTO JM69 to support work contaminated sites at Naval Station Great Lakes and Naval Support Activity Crane, as well as Navy and Marine Corps facilities throughout the NAVFAC Atlantic Area of Responsibility (AOR).
NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Environmental Multiple Award Contract (EMAC) Award: The objective of this procurement is to obtain environmental services and the implementation of remedial actions at environmentally contaminated sites predominately located at Naval Station Great Lakes- Great Lakes, Illinois and Naval Support Activity Crane, Indiana, as well as Navy and Marine Corps active duty and reserve facilities throughout the United States and U. S. Territories within the NAVFAC Atlantic Area of Responsibility (AOR).
The services provided under this procurement will consist of sites regulated under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Underground Storage Tanks (UST), Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Natural Resources, and other environmental programs, which might require corrective action, mitigation, sampling, inspection programs, studies, or remedial action. This contract focuses primarily on environmental services and environmental studies but could involve other environmental work such as compliance projects.
